Visit Wenatchee's famed Apple Blossom Festival in springtime, as well as numerous year-round events in Leavenworth.

Hiking and biking. Day hike, backpack or mountain bike in the Basin or nearby Cascades.

ORV riding. Hit the trail in the Beverly Dunes area to the south, which is especially popular with motocross riders.

Fishing.
Drop a line in the Columbia or Wenatchee River, or one of numerous productive fishing lakes in the Columbia Basin.

Water sports. Boat, waterski, sail and jet ski along the 35-mile-long Wanapum Reservoir.

White water rafting. Shoot the rapids in the Wenatchee River; the stretch between Leavenworth and Wenatchee is especially popular.

Bird watching. View hundreds of different species in the Columbia National Wildlife Refuge south of Moses Lake, or the Coluckum Refuge, just across the Columbia from Sunserra.

Hunting. Enjoy some of the best upland bird and migratory wildfowl hunting in the nation, about an hour away.
